Andrew's Church, West Stoke
The Parochial Church Council strives to provide all people equal access to this church and grounds. We have prepared this access statement about the provisions that have been made so far, so that all can feel welcome in our Parish Church and community.
The church is at the west end of West Stoke about 60 yards north of the road. It is open every day and visitors are very welcome. Times of services are on a notice board in the porch.
There is a car park up a private drive west of the church from which there is a gently rising gravel path to the church. Wheelchair users can park at West Stoke House east of the church and use an almost level gravel path.
Access within the church
There are no steps to the entrance, nor any in the nave. There is room for wheelchair access in the aisle. During a service wheelchairs can be accommodated beside the font.
The church is small: no audio system is fitted.
Hymn books and Prayer books are available in large print. Please ask for a copy.
Assistance to the Altar
Help can be provided if needed. In addition communion elements can be brought to the pews and to wheelchairs. Please warn the Rector, Verger or Sidesman.
There are no facilities at the Church.
If you require any further information or assistance please contact the Rector:
