** U15 BOYS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS **

Bromley & Beckenham won the Boys U15 Cup for the first time after winning all three of their games at the University of Birmingham.

The BromBeck side were always in control of the tournament and they got off to a flyer when they beat Teddington 5-1 with Dominic Coe OBrien scoring four of the goals.

Bromley & Beckenham beat Cannock in their next match to put them three points clear at the top going into Sundays last match. This meant that a draw in their last game would be enough for victory but they showed they were worthy winners as they put a further five past City of Peterborough to bring more misery on the Cambridgeshire side. The game saw Dominic Coe OBrien score another two goals which meant he finished top scorer of the tournament with six goals.

Other goal scorers were Rob Farrington-2, Chris Barnett, Rob Pagliuca, Harry Sainsbury, Harry Sellers and Ben Painting.

It was not just about the scoring it was also great defending conceding only one goal in three games.

The full squad was Tom Martin (GK), Rob Barnes (GK), Ollie Preston, James Beck, Bobby Harris, Ed Bull, Rob Pagliuca, Rob Farrington, Chris Barnett, Harry Sainsbury, Harry Sellers, Dom Coe OBrien, Ben Painting, Ryan Mason, Callum Nowlan-Dias, Jamie Brooker

Congratulations to all the players and Coaches involved as it was a fantastic Team performance and a great finish to a season where this age group have lost only one game all season.

The boys should be very proud of their achievements and a great advert for the strength of Bomley & Beckenham Junior Hockey
