Race for Life

Hello to everyone who got involved with me running the Race for Life this year - sponsors, co-runners and well-wishers.

If I were receiving an Oscar I would have to give profuse thanks to my physio at this point, because until last Thursday I wasn't even sure if I would be able to run due to several injuries picked up as I tried to train!

But, spurred on by the thought of the 500 pounds that I had raised and the company of Nicky round the course, I made it and in a fairly respectable time too.

It is a remarkably uplifting experience to be running round Crystal Palace with 4,500 other people in order to raise money for this charity. I have attached a picture of us before the race (the after pictures are not a pretty sight - all red faces and sweaty shirts)
