NICK SABIN
Most of you are aware now of the very sad news that one of our Vets players Nick Sabin died recently.
He was a member of firstly Bromley and then Bromley & Beckenham for over 40 years. Nick was a former Vets Captain at Bromley and had played regularly for the vets and Ravens since the merger. Nick will be sadly missed by all that knew him.
Nick's funerel will be held at All Saints Church on Friday 12th Oct at12.00 noon. The church is situated on Putney Common just off the Lower Richmond Road.
The service will be followed by the cremation at 13.30 at Mortlake Crematorium which is at Kew Meadow Path, Townmead Road, Richmond TW9 4EN. This is a turning off the A205 South Circular Road near Chiswick Bridge.
Afer the cremation Lindsay, (Nick's wife), will host a celebration of Nick's life at Wimbledon Hockey Club (Church Road, Wimbledon, SW19 5AG - opposite the All England Tennis facility).
Paul King has kindly arranged for some flowers from "All your friends at Bromley & Beckenham Hockey Club". Anyone not wishing to contribute to this can arrange for their own flowers by contacting Karen at Ashton Mathias Funearal Directors. (0208 788 1790).
