Kent U15 boys win National championship
Following the news that 4 Brom/Beck's U15 players had been selected to represent Kent at the national county championships, They were held last weekend at Bath university and Kent won!!!!
They had to play 4 matches against
Saturday
NOTTS, they won 4-0
SOMERSET, they won 4-0
Sunday
Cambridge, they drew 1-1
finally Cheshire - It was both teams last game and Cheshire had won all three, so it was in effect the cup final.
Kent destroyed them 5-1, 4-0 up at half time. Star of the game was our very own Keiran Mulholland who scored 4 and made the other one, despite being marked by the england U16 midfield player from Cheshire. Cue big celebrations on the way home !!
the 4 Bromley andBeckenham players were :
Keiran Mulholland
Olly Harvey
Tom Doane
Charlie Goodall (GK)
Thanks to Jennie Goodall for report and this photo (looks like the usual suspects to me) ...
