Change of AGM date

Sorry for the late notice, but unfortunately work committments mean that we have had to reschedule the AGM. It will be delayed a week to Thursday the 4th of August. Timing and venue will remain the same - 8pm start in the long room at Foxgrove Road. I will publish an agenda very shortly, but essentially, there are only three items ; agree the new bye-laws, elect officers, and announce upcoming social and preseason events.

A couple of thoughts about last Thursday...

“This is London. We’ve dealt with your sort before. You don’t try and pull this on us. Do you have any idea how many times our city has been attacked? Whatever you’re trying to do, it’s not going to work ... Our city works. We rather like it. And we’re going to go about our lives. We’re going to take care of the lives you ruined. And then we’re going to work. And we’re going down the pub.”
www.lnreview.co.uk

"Yesterday we fled this great city, but today we are walking back into an even stronger, greater city. The people who did this should know they have failed. They have chosen the wrong city to pick on. London will go on."

welcome to the new website

This is just a trial design, the logo was done by a friend, and is totally not offical, just that I quite liked it !!

Well after the hard work of merging these two historic clubs, I feel like we should all take a well earned rest, however, there are about a million things to do. First up is agreeing the league structures, we are still working on the womens 6th and 7th selected sides, to ensure that they are in the leagues that our player want.

We have to start booking pitches, getting fixtures organised, planning pre season, and most importantly getting our structure, bye laws and officers selected.

I hope you're all excited about the merger and the superior strength of hockey that it creates.

I look forward to all your help and support in our first season together.

As I noted above this is just a first cut of what the website may end up looking like, and as yet has very little content. I have just about had time for our first lookalike, and I am currently building a page that has the subscription details, the new membership form, and the direct debit information.

As I mentioned we are planning our inaugural AGM for Wednesday the 27th of July 8pm at Foxgrove Road. (this is subject to possible slight change),
